| Dr. Marier was born in Binghamton, New York of immigrant parents. He attended high school in Binghamton, then college at Manhattan College, and medical school at New York University, both in New York City. He lived in Colorado from 1976 until after completing his specialty training and practicing for a short time. He then searched the western US for the ideal place to raise a family and settled in Pendleton where he moved in 1984. He has never regretted the decision. Dr. Marier enjoys his two adorable, talented, charming and extremely intelligent college student daughters and his loyal dog Cookie (aka the "wonder dog"). His hobbies include playing guitar regularly, piano sometimes, skiing, travel, cooking, reading, hiking and cycling. | |
